PRESS: T Plus can appoint ex-Sverdlovsk Region head as acting CEO
MOSCOW, Mar 9 (PRIME) -- The board of directors of Russian power producer T Plus can appoint former prime minister of the Sverdlovsk Region Denis Pasler as the acting CEO, business daily Kommersant reported on Thursday, citing a source close to the board and market participants.
“The only candidate is former prime minister of the Sverdlovsk Region Denis Pasler. Arrested Boris Vainzikher retains the chair of the T Plus CEO,” the daily said reported.
Yevgeny Olkhovik, a shareholder of Renova Group and chairman of T Plus’ board of directors, and Vainzikher were arrested in September 2016 over a bribery case in the Komi Republic.
The sources cited by Kommersant said that Pasler’s key task will be implementation of a development strategy approved in 2016. He will also have to normalize relations with regions after an accident at the Penzenskaya TETs power plant and mounting discontent by the Komi republic authorities.
